EXPERIENCE
- Steve has been practicing architecture for more than 35 years, doing primarily residential design. At last count, his projects number more than one hundred.
- Before establishing Studio Marchetti in 2012, Steve was a partner in Peix & Marchetti Architects, where his New York City residential practice was established and refined over sixteen years. Prior to this partnership, Steve worked for over seven years at Cesar Pelli & Associates on such projects as the National Airport in Washington, D.C.; a major hotel in Fukuoka, Japan; academic buildings for Princeton and Yale Universities; and one of the world’s tallest buildings, Petronas Twin Towers, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

- Steve is a registered architect in New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey, as well as a member of NCARB.
Angelo Caranese, Senior Associate
EDUCATION
- The Sapienza University of Rome: Bachelor of Interior Architecture and Interior Design.
- The Sapienza University of Rome: Master of Architecture, and Urban Planning.
EXPERIENCE
- Angelo has been practicing architecture for 10 years, focusing on Interiors and high-end residential projects. Before joining Studio Marchetti in 2016, he collaborated with various firms in New York City and in Italy.
- His most recent projects are a historic Brownstone renovation in Brooklyn Heights, a Recording Studio on the Upper West Side, and a new Residence in Katonah. He is a passionate lover of crafts and custom furniture.
