Upper East Side Townhouse
This Gracie Square Townhouse was completely gutted, and its facade was reclad with brownstone. A new top floor was added behind the copper mansard roof with its elliptical dormer window. Decorative ironwork serves as both the street fence and the window guards.
The existing townhouse was pushed out in the back to create a glassy wall onto the Garden. The Master Bathroom, clad in white marble tile and slabs, features an Empire-style tub, a new open stair spills down to the generous Family Kitchen on the Garden Floor.
